I’ve been following crypto for a while and honestly I just don’t see it replacing fiat anytime soon)
The biggest issue is regulation. Governments aren’t going to let go of control over money supply and monetary policy
We’re already seeing more crackdowns tighter rules and increased pressure on stablecoins and exchanges, if crypto has to follow all the same KYC and AML rules it loses a lot of what made it attractive in the first place!!!
Also for a lot of people, crypto is still way too risky and confusing: managing private keys worrying about scams or sending to the wrong address isn’t something most people want to deal with.
Fiat might not be perfect but it’s stable widely accepted and backed by real institutions. I think crypto will stick around and be useful in some areas like international transfers or as an investment, but full replacement of traditional money just doesn’t seem realistic anytime soon, just my personal opinion tho!
